"Buffalo" Jim Reeves

Buffalo Jim Reeves has built on his standing as a hero of Western New York, earning recognition as a top-echelon gurgitator nationwide. While still lagging top-10 eaters, Reeves has offered some amazing efforts in noodles, chicken wings and other foods. His goal remains victory at the National Buffalo Wing Festival and his training continues to focus on this event. He is the only gurgitator to compete in every National Buffalo Wing Festival since its inception in 2002. Reeves earned himself a seat at the 2004 Nathan's final table in Coney Island, the Alka-Seltzer US Open and also at the final table in Chattanooga for the 2005 and 2006 Krystal Square Off Championships. He is a teacher of mathematics and computer sciences at Gowanda High School on Gowanda, NY. Go Panthers!
