Upper Crust World Pizza Eating Championship Returns to Boston 9/25

The Upper Crust World Pizza Eating Championship will return to Boston's Phantom Gourmet Food Festival on Saturday, September 25th. Last year, Philly's Micah "Wing Kong" Collins ate 20 slices of UC pizza to stun the Boston crowd and take home his first career win.

Major League Eaters will be served Upper Crust's traditional Neapolitan-style pizza (thin crust, chunky sauce) in the 10-minute contest. A $5,000 prize purse will be up-for-grabs with the winner taking home $2,500 and the title.

Registration for the Upper Crust World Pizza Eating Championship will open on IFOCE.com Tuesday, August 17 at 3:00pm PST.
